This Privacy Policy explains how CircuitForge ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service at circuitforgeph.com. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Your username, and if you sign up with email or Google: your email address and Google account identifier and name.
- A securely hashed password (for username/password accounts). We do not store your Google password.
Device and usage data
- Identifiers of devices you flash (chip IDs) and records of flashing activity and credits.
- Telemetry your devices report to the Service, such as transaction and status events.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and timestamps, used for security and rate limiting.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Service, including authentication, flashing, and the dashboard.
- To administer flash credits and device ownership.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
3. Google Sign-In
If you choose "Sign up/Continue with Google", we receive your basic profile information (name, email, and a unique Google identifier) to create or link your account. We request only the minimum scopes needed and do not access your other Google data.
4. Cookies
We use a single essential authentication cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising. If you disable it, you will not be able to stay logged in.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under appropriate safeguards:
- Hosting (Vercel) — to serve the application.
- Database (Neon) — to store account, device, and credit records.
- Authentication (Google) — if you use Google sign-in.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by reaching out to the CircuitForge team through the channel you use to manage your account.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
